02100 about 35 display consoles, computer controlled television cameras,
02200 computer controlled artificial hands, a computer controlled vehicle,
02300 and other on-line devices. The Laboratory is part of the Computer
02400 Science Department, but its facilities are used by students and
02500 faculty of the departments of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical
02600 Engineering, Linguistics, Psychology, Music, and others for projects
02700 that contribute to the research goals of the Laboratory.
02800
02900 Research appointments at the pre- and post-doctoral levels
03000 are available. New graduate students in Computer Science are
03100 automatically considered for appointment as Research Assistants in
03200 the Laboratory. Graduate students in other departments may apply
03300 directly.
